I’m sorry for your negative experience with Nexplanon. Insertion and removal related events. The most common side effect of NEXPLANON is a change in your normal menstrual bleeding pattern. I have had implanon for over a year now and when i first got it the bleeding was constant for about 3 weeks but it was red blood and not like a normal period.

In my experience, 1-2 months of trying a low dose birth control pill may stabilize your lining and stop the bleeding.
