The trail starts at the Picnic Area. Boone Fork Bridge and creek is situated at the base of Grandfather Mountain, on the Blue Ridge Parkway, milepost 299.9. The 5 mile loop trail that leaves from the picnic area at Julian Price Park is not to be missed. Together these parks make up the largest developed area set aside for public recreation on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
